Dear all,

I am trying to build up a monkey PBPK model. Does anyone happen to know any literature with physiological parameters (like, blood flow, organ volume) for cynomolgus monkeys? I can find those information for mice.

Thanks a lot,Post edited by: Cwux, at: 2010/03/12 05:05...

I am trying to develop PBPK models in a range of pre-clinical species and human, using the Rogers method of determining Kp values using the various tissue compositions in each of the species. Do people know of any useful references that outline the tissue composition (E/C water, Neut lipid, Acidic Phospholipids etc...) for dogs and monkeys. I have rat and human data. ta,...

The problem was in the parameterisation. I had built the model with the muscle as part of the slowly perfused tissue rather than a seperate compartment. However I used the values quoted in the report and did not take into account muscle volume or blood flow hence major error. I assume it uses a mass balance equation for muscle hence the values for muscle are not quoted in the report. A newbie error by myself I take it, I note there have been past forum questions on taking this into account and doing some s...

Giorgio

Unfortunately, it is extremely difficult to help in these circumstances because this type of problem is certainly due to coding. Debugging is laborious. Have you tried to build the model using MEGen? If not click on Build a Model on the left hand panel above. You should be able to export the model in ACSL code.
